Davis Behavioral Health is seeking full-time Certified Medical
Assistant or Medical Secretary to work on the medical team,
assisting psychiatrists and nurse practitioners on the adult and
youth teams. The successful candidate will work as part of a
multi-disciplinary team with patients that have additions and mental illness.
Primary Job Duties

Compensation
The starting wages for this position are outlined below:

Certified Medical Assistant: $18.75 per hour

Preference is to hire a Certified Medical Assistant in good
standing. Candidates who are pursuing medical assistant
certification, have experience as either a Certified Nursing
Assistant (C.N.A.) or other experience directly related to the
functions of this position may also be considered.
DBH utilizes an electronic health record system, so computer
literacy is a must for employment at our agency.
Previous experience working in a behavioral health setting is preferred.
Preference will be given for applicants who are fluent in
Spanish, but this is not a requirement for employment in this opening.
The selected candidate must successfully pass a pre-employment
criminal background check and drug screening. DBH will not hire
individuals currently using illegal drugs or abusing
alcohol; therefore, making employment at DBH conditional upon
successfully passing pre-employment drug screening by providing a
valid sample. Candidates who are offered employment are required to
report for a drug screen at an Intermountain WorkMed location within
24 hours of being requested to do so by the DBH Human Resources Department.
Davis Behavioral Health works with Federal grants and must
comply with the Federal drug laws, including no use of medical marijuana.
