Davis Behavioral Health, Inc. is seeking part-time Childcare
Workers to care for children whose parents are attending parenting
classes. The successful candidates must monitor the children at all
times and ensure that they play and interact with one another in a
safe and appropriate manner. DBH is recruiting for both Childcare
Leads and Childcare Assistants to help with this need.
Childcare Lead
Candidates hired to work as childcare leads must meet the
following requirements and complete the following assignments:

Be at least 18 years old

Complete CPR and First Aid training
-
Be responsible for site coordination
-
Be responsible for supplies & food
-
Monitor children to ensure that they play and interact with
one another in a safe and appropriate manner.
Childcare Assistant
Candidates hired to work as childcare assistants must meet the
following requirements and complete the following assignments:

Be at least 16 years old

Complete CPR and First Aid training
-
Monitor children to ensure that they play and interact with
one another in a safe and appropriate manner.
Location
Classes are offered in several schools throughout North Davis
County (Syracuse, Clearfield, West Clinton, Sunset, West Point),
Layton, and in South Davis County (Bountiful, West Bountiful,
Centerville, North Salt Lake, Woods Cross).
Schedule
Classes are offered on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday
evenings from either 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm or 6:00 pm to 8:30 pm
depending on the program that is being offered.
Compensation
The starting hourly rate for Childcare Leads is $16.00 per hour.
The starting rate for Childcare Assistants is $12.50 per hour.

dependents not be actively receiving services at DBH except for
medication management services to eliminate/avoid possible conflicts
or uncomfortable boundaries.

Required Experience
Childcare workers must completed be First Aid and CPR certified or
must complete certification within 30 days of hire.
Preference will be given to applicants who have previous childcare experience.
Candidates for childcare worker positions must be at least 16 years
of age.
The selected candidate must successfully pass a pre-employment
criminal background check and drug screening. DBH will not hire
individuals currently using illegal drugs or abusing
alcohol; therefore, making employment at DBH conditional upon
successfully passing pre-employment drug screening by providing a
valid sample. Candidates who are offered employment are required to
report for a drug screen at an Intermountain WorkMed location within
24 hours of being requested to do so by the DBH Human Resources Department.
Davis Behavioral Health works with Federal grants and must comply
with the Federal drug laws, including no use of medical marijuana.
These position are classified as part-time non-exempt and are
not eligible for participation in the company's benefits plan.
